I almost forgot today was 911.
Until I saw the date on the screen when taking the train back hotel.
Seems like everyone has forgotten what happened 5 years ago.
No news, no solemn faces, no sudden appearance of SECURITY POLICE.
Perhaps because I was totally immersed in the school's orientation.
Nearly lose track of time.
Everywhere in the school was smiling faces.
Newbies like me filled with aniticipation.
Seniors probably can't wait for sch re-open.
My seniors are very nice people.
FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC & HIGH.
NATURAL HIGH to be exact.
They cheer like they have never done before.
They rattle like they have never talk before.
Back in spore, is usually me doing it.
But in Taiwan, u dun need to worry 冷场。
Everyone fight to cover up 冷场。
Until sometimes I think a bit OVER.
There was a few moment I really cannot "tahan" them.
Cos I could not hear wat is going on in front of the class.
Instead I could clearly hear 那一个男人在追那个女人的小八卦。
Different culture.
So different.
Sporeans very "geng".
I also.
Our self intro always so sian.
It is a very nice thing to hear people speaking Mandarin fluently when introducing themselves. Haven hear that for a long time.
还可以开冷笑话,装幽默
你会反击
“是他们的母语”
I agree.
But is just a feeling lah, to be in such an environment.
In such a family.
It has been a long time since I received gifts from seniors.
It has been a long time since I stand up for self intro.
读书真好。
